Hazelwood Hall, Silverdale Pringle Homes

Completed: Autumn 2008

A large-scale project converting an old peoples home into 24 luxury second homes. The work involved installing our Georgian cornice to all flats and restoring the original damaged cornice in the premier home where pipes and cables had to be run.

To complete the restoration we needed to remove many sections of damaged cornice, cast rubber moulds to produce new plaster sections of the cornice, then expertly fit the new pieces to blend in seamlessly with the originals.

Decorative paneled ceiling Victorian House, Southport

Completed: August 2008

An unusual project requiring replicating a paneled ceiling that had been damaged due to a water leak.

We had to remove a small section of the complicated pattern, make a rubber mould after cleaning up the original and cast new moulds before completing the panel back to its former glory.

Enriched cornice and recessed ceiling panel Georgian House, Penrith

Completed: Summer 2008

A complicated restoration caused by water damage and rotting structures.

The project involved casting a mould directly onto the ceiling before repairing and casting a new one in our workshop, before carefully re-instating to match the remaining period mould.
